Two killed in officer-involved shooting in DeWitt Wednesday
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is holding a press conference on Wednesday, Sep. 6, at 4 p.m. regarding an investigation into two connected shootings.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings that are allegedly connected, one that happened around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday on Danzig St. in the Town of DeWitt and another that was near the intersection of Mooney and Hixson Ave in Syracuse.
The Sherriff’s Office says an Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in an officer-involved shooting on Danzig St. and two suspects were killed.
The Sheriff’s Office says one person was shot in the Mooney and Hixon Ave shooting.
More information is expected in the afternoon press conference.
