Syracuse falls in Final Four to Boston College

CARY, NC (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse women’s lacrosse team fell to Boston College for a second time this season, losing in the NCAA Tournament semifinal Friday night 8-7. The Eagles advanced to the title game for the sixth straight year.

Similar to SU’s regular season loss to Boston College, the Orange led at the start of the fourth period but then the Eagles took all of the momentum by scoring two goals and tying it up. Boston College never let off the gas. The Eagles took the lead on a free position shot with 3:31 left in regulation.

Kayla Treanor and the Orange finish the season 18-3.
