Photos & Standout Moments From Taylor Swift’s Rainy Nashville Show

Taylor Swift’s Sunday (May 7) show at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium had the superstar dancing in a storm in her best dress, fearless.

After a nearly three-hour delay due to a lightning advisory and a shelter in place, Swift still took the stage at 10:11 p.m. for her final The Eras show in Nashville. “We’ve been waiting for hours to play for you,” she told the crowd. “You’ve been waiting for hours. The mutual love between us right now. You waiting and doing that for us is making me feel fantastic, Nashville.”

The Grammy-winning superstar made up for lost time, bringing out The National’s Aaron Dessner and Phoebe Bridgers (whose opening slot was cut due to the delay) for surprise performances throughout the night.

Swift’s three-night stint in Nashville was eventful, to say the least. During Friday’s (May 5) show, she revealed that her next re-recorded release, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), will be arriving on July 7. She directed fans’ attention to the screens around the stadium halfway through the show, featuring the updated album cover and the words: “Speak Now. Taylor’s Version. Available July 7.”

To celebrate the announcement, Nashville’s John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge also changed its lights to a bright violet hue on Friday night. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) will follow Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), both of which were released in 2021.

In honor of Swift’s Nashville shows, we’ve compiled a gallery of photos from the rainy final concert. See them below.
