The brightest stars in country music are getting ready for the 58th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Dolly Parton returns to host alongside first-time host Garth Brooks.
The show will air live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday (May 11) at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and will stream exclusively on Prime Video and Amazon Music’s Twitch channel.
In addition to co-hosting, Parton will also perform during the show. “I’m just looking forward to working with Garth because he’s just a legend, and he is one the nicest people ever,” Parton told Billboard during a phone interview last week.
The country legend added that she still gets nervous to take the stage. “I’m not scared to death, but I’m always scared just enough to do well because it makes me try harder. It’s more like having butterflies until you get started and then you’re off and running.”
Other performers include Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Brandy Clark, Luke Combs, Caylee Hammack, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina, Ashley McBryde, John Osborne, Pillbox Patti, Carly Pearce, Jelly Roll, Ed Sheeran, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, The War And Treaty, Hailey Whitters, Lainey Wilson, Trisha Yearwood and Bailey Zimmerman.
Pearce, the reigning female artist of the year, will join Trisha Yearwood to perform a special medley celebrating the 25th anniversary of Yearwood winning female artist of the year. Swindell and Messina will perform the ACM Award-nominated hit “She Had Me At Heads Carolina (remix),” while HARDY, this year’s top nominee, will make his ACM Awards performance debut.
Presenters include Gabby Barrett, BRELAND, Brandy Clark, Jordan Davis, Mickey Guyton, Tyler Hubbard, Dustin Lynch, TJ Osborne, Jon Pardi, Pearce, MacKenzie Porter, Dak Prescott, Emmitt Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, Tanya Tucker, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, and Chris Young. Amber Anderson, Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Elaina Smith, and Kelly Sutton will host the AMC Awards red carpet.
